2007 Investigations

11/17/07 - Ravenswood: Bell Air, MO

Experiences:

A couple of investigators were getting high EMF readings in a couple of
the bedrooms (one just right around a portrait of Nadine Leonard who is
said to be one of the spirits haunting the house).

Two of the investigators were in the breakfast room and asked for the
chandelier hanging above the table to be moved and it rotated about an
inch clockwise.

Debunking:

None.

Audio

Sigh: The entire group is leaving the former bedroom of the spirit
thought to be haunting the residence. You'll hear what sounds like a
female sigh. It is not one of our investigators.

Videos

Rattle

No Rattle

Two of the investigators are sitting in one of the bedrooms. They have a
small cat toy that makes a rattling sound when moved. One of the
investigators asks, "Can you move something in this room?" In the video
from one camera(video on left), you can actually hear the ball rattling
even though it does not move. The video from the other camera (video
on right and which was about two feet away from the first camera)and
the voice recorder did not pick up that sound nor did the investigators
hear it.


UnHuh

Two investigators were sitting in the upstairs hallway. Both video
cameras picked up what sounds like a female voice saying "uh-uh". It
wasn't the investigators and they did not hear it at the time.



10/26/07 - Undisclosed Location: Sedalia, MO

Experiences:



Two of the investigators were getting high EMF fields that seemed to be
moving around from place to place.
One of the investigators felt a cold spot move across her face twice.
One of the walkie-talkies started beeping for no apparent reason.
One of the video cameras shut itself off - even though it still had battery
life left.

Debunking:

None.

Audio

Music: Three of the investigators are sitting down in an equipment
room in a loft above the lobby. As one of them sits down, you'll hear her
say that a wire is poking her in the back and one of the other
investigators will comment. Right after that, there are three low,
descending notes. It is not the same sound as a truck or other vehicle
driving by and none of the investigators heard it at the time. However, it
was also picked up by the camcorder.

10/23/07 - Malone's On Main: Sedalia, MO

Experiences:

While walking down the hall, one of the investigators heard a dragging
sound, like a big cardboard/wooden box being dragged across the floor
towards the front of the building, but there wasn't anyone there.  (Later a
stationary IR camera picked up the same sound when no one was
upstairs).

While upstairs, two investigators heard the sound of a baby cry when
there were no babies in the building.

Two investigators from our group as well as one from another
paranormal investigation group saw a shadow moving on the wall in the
hallway.

Debunking:

None.

Audio

Michael: Two of the investigators are setting up/getting situated in one of
the rooms.You can hear the shuffling of them walking and a female or
child's whispering voice. To us it sounds like "Michael" or "Look at
Michael".

Go Into This Room: Four of the investigators are walking down the hall
when a female voice is heard saying "Go into this room".

Look: The three female investigators are in the back room of the building
(the two male investigators are at the front of the building - a good 70
feet away). One of the investigators asks "Can you make anything move
in here?" After a long pause, there's a definite male voice saying what
sounds like "Look".

Footsteps: We had left a voice recorder in the upstairs part of the
building then everyone went downstairs for about 30 minutes leaving no
one upstairs and the only access to the upstairs was in plain sight. About
five minutes before we all returned upstairs, the recorder picked up the
sound of about eight footsteps. Some of the background noise is plastic
over a window.

Footsteps/Stomp: There were only two investigators upstairs at this
time. They went into a completely empty room, sat the recorder in the
middle of the floor, and both of them sat on the floor about three feet
away from the recorder. After one of them asks a question, you can hear
what sounds like footsteps walking up the hall and into the room Then a
loud bang is heard as if someone were stomping on the floor right next to
the recorder. Neither investigator heard anything at the time.

Dragging: This is from the audio of a stationary infrared camera that was
set up overnight (seven-hour period) in the upstairs part of a historic
building. Nobody was upstairs at the time but you can hear what sounds
like something being dragged across the floor. One of the investigators
also heard the sound earlier that day, but could not find a source for it.

Mic Flip: This is from the same evening as the previous clip (IR camera
set up overnight with no one upstairs). The camera picked up an unusual
sound like someone flipped the microphone.

Metallic Bang: Same IR camera left overnight. An unexplained loud,
metallic bang that resonates for several seconds. It is not the sound of the
heater kicking on and it only appeared this one time in the seven hours of
video. It has never been heard during any of the multiple investigations
that have been done at this location.
