| 2009 Investigations Page 2 04/04/2009 Private Residence: Carl Junction, MO Experiences: There were a few spikes on our K-2 meters during the evening, but we have found during past investigations that cell phones can cause spikes - even just in a cycling mode. (The investigators' phones were off, but family members' phones may have been on.) One investigator saw a light formation in the bedroom - but light trickery from windows or a reflection from a flashlight cannot be ruled out. Debunking: None. Audio: Knock: The Lead Investigator asks for a knocking response, and a faint knock seems to be heard. Video: None. 04/03/2009 Hornet Spook Light: MO/OK Border Experiences: The team viewed a pulsating light at the crest of a hill on "Spook Light Road". This light would increase in intensity going from white to yellow, etc. When the team tried to move closer to the light, it seemed to disappear. Two of the investigators also saw a light to the south of the road near a small grove of trees. Debunking: In regard to the light seen at the crest of the hill, the overall opinion of the team is that it was probably traffic headlights from I-44. There is probably some light distortion as the headlights hit the crest of the hill. Audio: None. Video: Video 1: Light at the crest of the hill. Video 2: Light at the crest of the hill. 01/24/2009 Undisclosed Location: Sedalia, MO Experiences: One investigator seated in the large room heard what she thought was the name of another investigator being whispered when no one was close by. Responses on the K2 meter were received in the back hallway during EVP sessions. Also, the light aroma of candy or something similar wafted through at about the same time. Feelings of an unknown presence where felt in several places on the 3rd floor. Several unexplained noises (one like a growl) were also heard. Debunking: None. Audio: NO: There was a faint response to a question asked regarding the entity's presence in the previous building on the property. Then, when asked if the entity had a particular occupation, the answer was clear: "No!" Wow: When asked if the entity wanted one of the investigators to stay, the answer seems to be: "Wow!" This female voice is definitely none of the female investigators. Video: Video: During an early EVP session in the back hallway, the question was posed regarding the entity's name. You can hear "Hannah" or "Anna". This female voice sounds close to the IR camera's microphone. The female investigators (except the one on camera) were located in other places in the building. You will hear it about 6 seconds into the video. 01/02/09 Janie's Bail Bonds: Sedalia, MO Experiences: Two the investigators recorded a disembodied voice during an EVP session in an upstairs room. What the voice said is debatable. This voice is extremely close to the digital recorder's microphone in comparison to the investigators' voices. The investigators did not hear this voice at the time. Responses to questions were obtained on 2 separate K-2 meters in a room that contained household belongings of a deceased person that had worked in the building. Questions were being asked by investigators and employees that currently work in the building. (However, these "responses" cannot be verified due to the high EMF readings throughout the building.) Sporadic EMF fluctuations on the Tri-Field Natural EMF Meter that could not be accounted for. Debunking: Claim: Employees feel uneasy and have feelings of being watched. Possible Explanation: Extremely high EMF levels are present throughout the building due to the amount of electronic equipment in use (computers, etc.) Also, the electrical wiring is probably quite old and unshielded. These could bring about the "fear cage" sensation. Claim: Employees have heard disembodied voices. Possible Explanation: Due to the proximity of an alley and parking lots, sound could travel into the building and make it seem like the voices were inside. (However, this cannot explain the above recording.) Claim: Sounds of walking on the second floor. Possible Explanation: Again, in regard to the age of the building there could be settling and creaking of floorboards and joints. Also, vehicular traffic in front of the building might be a cause of these noises. Audio Hum: EVP of disembodied voice close to digital recorder's microphone. Video None. |
