Huston Tavern: Arrow Rock, MO Experiences: There were no personal experiences by the team during the investigation. No anomalous sounds were heard, no visual sightings and nothing unusual recorded on the EMF meters other than 1 spike on the Tri-Field Natural EMF Meter just as the investigation was beginning. All manner of communication was attempted - with no avail. Debunking: Some of the employees' and owner's experiences in the kitchen area might be attributed to high EMF readings. There are many appliances used in a restaurant setting that are giving off these readings. However, these people have had too many experiences to attribute all of them to these high EMF readings. Audio: There were several digital audio recorders placed in the building - 1 in the basement, 1 in the Old Kitchen, and 2 upstairs. A stationary IR camera was also placed in 1 of the dining rooms. There were several EVPs recorded - from a growl to a child - to the sound of small feet running up or down steps and a "screen door" opening & closing. There is no door presently installed that makes that sound. Use headphones to hear these EVP's at their best quality. Conclusions: With the amount of EVPs & anomalous sounds, we believe there is a combination of residual & intelligent hauntings in this location and more investigating is warranted. 05/24/2009 Private Residence: Sparta, MO Experiences: The investigators reported that 2 of the rooms felt "heavy" at times. Also, activity picked up when the one resident of the home was on her way back and after she returned. There were knocking sounds when questions were posed during EVP sessions. Some of these were audible to the investigators, some were only heard on the recordings later. Because of windy conditions that evening, normal house creaking, etc. can not be ruled out. Debunking: Although there had been claims of apparitions of a young girl and an older man, no apparitions were witnessed by the investigators or family members present during the investigation. Some light anomalies that had been reported could be attributed to the amount of glass and mirrors present in the home. Audio: There were several EVPs captured. One voice seems to say, "I did" after an investigator asked about a noise made in the master bedroom. There seems to be a young girl humming in another audio clip from the nursery. I Did Creek Noise Come In Hum Mic Move Video: There were a few times that orbs appear when "knocking" sounds are heard. Even though this paranormal team doesn't put a lot of stock in orbs, it is interesting that they appear only when there is an anomalous sound or when a certain question is asked.
